Submission Guidelines
Copaiba publishes high-quality poetry, fiction, and nonfiction written by veterans, their families, and others affected by current and past wars. We want writing that explores what it means to live in times and places of conflict: from world conflicts to family conflicts to political conflicts to internal conflicts. Work can be from any perspective: it can address actual combat, life on the homefront, or the experiences of refugees. We are also interested in the ways people heal from and overcome conflict. We want to know what courage, honor, dedication, and strength mean to you. We are interested in what you remember and what you see.
We are especially interested in serving as a publishing venue that highlights the work of veterans of any war, and the families that sacrifice alongside them, but we will consider excellent work by any writer who has an experience and viewpoint to share.
